Without Excuse

People have asked me how a God of love could possibly send people to Hell if they have not been reached with His gospel. After long hard thought and prayer, God led me to Romans and gave me an answer.

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:18-20 Because He is love, God made sure that we could all find Him even if we are not originally led to Him from the Gospel. He built into this creation the indicators of the Creator and made it possible for all to see Him with our own eyes. Not only that, but God gave us His own will in our lives.

"Indeed when the Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness..." Romans 2:14,15 Not only has He built directions leading to Himself into nature, but he has built them into us! God has given us no excuse - if we are truly seeking, we cannot avoid finding Him.
