10 August 2006 I'm back! After a great summer I'm back and ready to start some writing. I'm sitting on some material that I'd like to see get worked together into some new essays. I hope everyone is having a great summer and I'm excited to see that we had a steady stream of visitors this whole summer even when there were no new updates. Congrats guys. 11 December 2005 Check out a new musing called In Front of Love. 08 December 2005 Started work on the Proverbs 31 project. It is shaping up to be the next big project. Pray that God guides me to do it in conforming to His purpose. 11 November 2005 I am pleased to present my much anticipated commentary on the Ten Commandments. I would like to preface this piece with a disclaimer: Please read it very carefully and consider what it truly says. I believe that this is the largest idea God has told me to write about and it is very heavy. Without further ado, Obedience to What?. 30 October 2005 I just attended a Relevant retreat in Scarborough Maine and was seriously blessed. David Platt from New Orleans Baptist Seminary was the speaker. I was totally blown away and convicted by him. It was not so much his message (which was astounding) but his amazing ability to yeild to the Spirit and let God speak through him. God really showed me how much I get in the way of the ministry He wants to have through me. 1/2 Through the Semester It's going quick! 1/4 Through the Semester Four weeks are over! The first round of tests is done! One fourth of the way through the semester and God is raining down His blessings. I would like to encourage anyone at the Academy to seek out fellowship opportunities because there are so many and they are so awesome! 04 October 2005 I decided to write about an idea that I've been kicking around for a while. I hope that this discourse is beneficial and edifying. 14 September 2005 Within the next 24 hrs you will be seeing two pseudo-academic essays that I have written. Both are in a different line than most everything else you've seen here. I pray that they serve God. 30 August 2005 Wow, it's been so long since my last post! Swab Summer and the beginning of the school year have taken all my time. I want to thank God for making this small dream possible, and if He wills it, ask Him to continue to bless this little ministry even more. (14 July 2005) Can David Read the ENTIRE BIBLE in 4 Days? Day 4: Monday 12 July Sadly, due to my own burnout (as well as outside obligations) I was unable to finish the entire Bible in the alloted four days. However, what I was able to accomplish was read most of the Old Testament - Genesis to Isaiah chapter 24 in four days of reading. The Lord be praised! 11 July 2005 Day 3: Monday 11 July Today I made it all the way to Proverbs chapter 16. Onto the prophets and then into the home strech: The New Testament! 10 July 2005 Break Day: Sunday 10 July Taking a day of rest for the sabbath. Updated Marriage with some new scripture. 09 July 2005 Day 2: Saturday 09 July Today's reading was much more productive. I moved somewhat slowly through Leviticus and Numbers (almost torture at some points...) and I made it all the way through 2 Samuel. Tomorrow is time for some much needed rest, so I won't be working on this little challenge. 08 July 2005 Day 1: Friday 08 July Today did not go well for my start. I had a lot of distractions (my family needed my help) and I felt exhausted from the moment I woke. I read Genesis and Exodus today. Going to get a good night's sleep and try again tomorrow! 07 July 2005 God has given me 20 years to live in this world. I pray that He will use me more in whatever time He has delegated for me to stay. 30 May 2005 I now realize that the new document in the works is going to take a significant amount of work due to its somewhat unorthodox nature. For this reason, I am postponing revealing it for a while. Hopefully I will have it complete by the start of the next semester (but no promises). I am going to need the criticisms of many people wiser than myself before I decide to publish this one. 25 May 2005 I've been on Luders for almost two weeks now, so no progress has been made on the big project essay yet, but I have managed to scrounge something together.
